FROM THE CORE: POSTNATAL RECOVERY
From the Core: Postnatal Recovery class is designed to meet the unique needs of mothers with new babies who are six weeks to six months post-partum. The 45-minute format incorporates a progression of exercises that strengthen pelvic floor, lower back and abdominals muscles.

Whether you are a veteran athlete or a novice to exercise your body has gone through many changes. This six week class meets twice a week and offers the opportunity to network and develop relationships with other new moms and their babies. Working in small groups of no more than eight moms and babies, this intimate setting provides an opportunity to rediscover your body and strength, ask questions and gather information from other moms to make your journey into motherhood a healthy one. NEW! BICEPS, BABIES & BUGGIESsm –  For New Moms
Biceps, Babies & Buggies – For New Moms caters specifically to women who have a baby six weeks to six months old.  All you need to get started is you, your baby and any kind of stroller. The 50-minute workout incorporates brisk walking and intervals of functional body-toning exercises to help you get back to pre-pregnancy shape.Our coaches pay attention to each woman’s postpartum needs to ensure exercises are both effective and safe for every participant.

Rediscover your body and strength! This class provides an opportunity to share stories, ask questions, and gather information from other new moms ­– all the while getting a great workout with your baby outdoors! More Details…

BICEPS, BABIES & BUGGIESsm  –  Beginner/Intermediate

Biceps, Babies & Buggies is a beginner to intermediate level outdoor fitness class ideal for any fitness level and moms who work out a couple times a week. A jogging stroller is not required. This 50-minute dynamic, total-body workout incorporates functional exercises to tone and strengthen every body part. Class moves swiftly and includes a power walk OR jog so you and your child enjoy the workout.

The parks are a fun setting for moms wanting to get into and stay in shape this summer and get some fresh air. AMC’s coaches — all certified personal trainers — will create a challenging workout for everyone in class. Our goal for you is to finish class feeling invigorated, challenged and wanting more!

Your child needs to be at least 6-weeks old and still enjoy being in the stroller.

Ready to kick it up a notch? New this summer Biceps, Babies & Buggies — Advanced is a high level fitness class for conditioned moms. This weekly 50-minute bootcamp workout is more intense, incorporates running, strength drills and compound exercises to increase strength and build muscular endurance. More Details…

Moms are welcome to attend class without child. If you bring your child to class, they must be at least six months old. A jogging stroller is required. We will be running. This class is not designed for pregnant women.

INDOOR STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CLASS
Indoor Strength & Conditioning Class is a great class to get you and your child out of the house in the cold months! The 60-minute intermediate level class delivers a total body workout that will enhance your strength, balance, flexibility, muscular endurance and burn many calories!

Class caters to new and experienced moms. You must be at least 10-weeks postpartum to participate. All children are welcome to class. Babies and small children typically play alongside mom during class, or make new friends while you get a great workout.

Day care is an option if you choose, $5 per child, per class. More Details…
